Phillip Volland (born 4 January 1996) is a German sim racer, currently competing for MPG Competition in the IVRC Touring Car Championship.
Early sim racing career
Volland started his professional sim racing career in 2017, jumping from Codemaster's F1 Series over to racing in minor leagues.
Touring Car Championship
With the beginning of IVRC, Volland joined the Touring Car Championship for it's debut season in 2018.
Nürburgring Endurance
For the first edition of the IVRC Nürburgring Endurance race Volland participated with MPG Competition. After initially going for a 24h race, the race directors shortened the race distance to 90 minutes and forbid shared entries. In the process, Volland started the race from 5th on the grid and despite suffering a disconnect in the last lap finished 3rd behind team mates Frau and Grimminger.
Bathurst 200
For the first edition of the IVRC Bathurst 200 race Grimminger will participate with MPG Competition.
