Scoring system

Points were awarded to the top 10 classified finishers in all races.

Weight Handicap

Weight penalties will be added for five out of the seven rounds, beginning from Fuji onwards until Autopolis.

From Round 2 to Round 5, each drivers' championship points will be multiplied 2 and then transfered into into kg, which will make up the weight penalty for each round. At round six, however, the champinship points are multiplyed x1 and ultimately dropped at the final race.
